SMN: What got you into it in the first place; why do you stick with it?
SARAH: I went with a friend for support and ended up getting hooked. I loved the challenge of it and the fact that there was always more to learn. It completely changed my body and I met so many people through it too.
SMN: Did you do any other forms of fitness training or dance before this?
SARAH: I had done sports etc at school and little bit at the gym but nothing like pole. Now I try to do a range of things that complement each other like body weight exercises, gymnastics, stretching and some weights. Pole dancing is still a fairly new form of fitness around the world.
