— Kai fell in love with Hip-Hop early in the new millennium when P-Diddy was at his peak, when Mase was the man, and when Nas was still Nasty. And he’s not ashamed to admit that Nelly was a big source of inspiration for him. He admired Nelly’s flare, and swag, his overall attitude in videos and on stage. He saw Nelly bringing a new flavour to commercial Hip-Hop, and decided that he wanted to get into rhyming and song writing.
